I was born in the "adventist bus" as Graham used to say. Went astray and came back to the church but with many doubts about my relationship with God. Then, I emigrated to the USA, some ten years ago. I didn't know English at that time, but at soon as I knew a few words here and there I tried to use the Sabbath School quarterly to practice and learn more.
One day while seeking for study helps on the internet I came across pineknoll.org and listened to the discussion. I couldn't help to order the cassettes of the quarterly about Job and little by little all of Graham's "lectures" were posted on the website. The time came when I decided to study the book of Romans guided by Graham's recordings. I was at work, and couldn't believe his way of describing God, "God is forgiveness personified"...I came to my knees and cried, I saw our loving God in a way I have never seen before. It all made sense, the scriptures, the Old and the New testament descriptions of God, I heard it again and again, "How Oh, How can I give you up, How Oh, how can I hand you over..." Graham's voice is still in my ears quoting Amos 11 and conveying Gods message towards me.
Sorry I'm taking too much space, but as I have said to many, I know for sure God brought me here to the States with one main purpose, to learn English, because that was going to be my way to listen the everlasting gospel according to His modern apostle and friend, A. Graham Maxwell.
As a result of this knowledge of the everlasting gospel, I have had the privilege of leading a men's prayer and study group, where we have studied and discussed many books, among them "Siervos o amigos", and now "The Great controversy". Our plans are to study the Bible, book by book, and look for the picture of God in all 66, if God allow us we will begin in about 3 or 4 months.
Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; for their works follow with them.
